Sightseeing tours on the Currituck Sound and Back Bay

Monkey Island/Swan Island

Visit a remote 7 mile island in the Currituck Sound that was once home to Algonkian Indians. It was inhabited by the Pamunkey tribe of Indians and is now home to variety of wildlife, flora and fauna. We will also visit the remote historic swan island hunting club. Lunch stop at Coinjock Marina

Mackay Island Wildlife Refuge

The refuge is home to mallards, teal, gadwall, and wood ducks during the winter. During the summer, expect to see a variety of marsh birds. Over 187 species of birds have been recorded including the king rail, as well as a variety of reptiles, amphibians and mammals.

Currituck Lighthouse Whalehead Club

Viewing the lighthouse by boat is nothing short of spectacular. We will provide ample time for photos and then take a trip to the historic Whalehead club in corolla with a stop for lunch.

Sunrise/Sunset Cruise

Some of the most spectacular sunsets and sunrises alike can be seen on the Currituck Sound with wildlife and marshes as a backdrop it is truly magical. A perfect cruise for a magical proposal or celebration.

Boat & Brunch

Take a leisurely boatride through the Currituck Sound to either Coinjock Marina or Blue Petes for brunch, dinner or a cocktail.(bring card or cash for meal)

False Cape State Park

False Cape is one of the most remote parks in Virginia. We will navigate through Back Bay to visit the park. Feel free to hike the wash woods trail and explore the migratory birds and wildlife before returning for a leisurely ride back or lunch at Blue Petes. (bring card or cash for lunch) Your choice.

We are happy to customize a cruise. We will provide ice and water. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks. Don’t forget your camera and sunscreen!
